Cookie Dough Fudge Pie Recipe (Dairy or Pareve)

This dessert is a heavenly fusion of two beloved classics – cookie dough and fudge pie! It’s perfect for chocolate lovers! Imagine buttery chunks of cookie dough embedded in a rich layer of fudge!  The recipe can either be dairy or pareve depending on which type of milk you use.  You can also experiment with white chocolate chips instead of dark.

Cookie Dough Fudge Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 ready-made graham cracker pie crust

Cookie Dough Layer

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon of milk or soy milk
  • 1/3 cup of flour
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips

Fudge Layer

  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C
  2. Prepare the cookie dough layer. In a large bowl, beat together the oil and sugars until they are combined. cookie dough fudge pie
  3. Add vanilla, milk, and flour. Beat until smooth. Add chocolate chips. Stir to distribute evenly. cookie dough fudge pie
  4. Remove cookie dough from mixer bowl to a second bowl, and set aside. There is no need to wash the bowl before going on to the next step.
  5. Prepare the fudge layer: In the same bowl, whisk sugar and oil until they are combined.
  6. Add vanilla, baking powder, and eggs. Beat until smooth. cookie dough fudge pie

  8. Pour the fudge layer into the graham cracker crust. cookie dough fudge pie
  9. Break off small pieces of the cookie dough and place evenly on top of the fudge layer to cover fudge. Push some pieces into the fudge so that they are buried or partially buried.
  10. Bake for 40 minutes in preheated oven. cookie dough fudge pie

Notes

Serve warm with pareve ice cream, or whipped cream!

Variation

Instead of baking in a graham cracker crust, bake these in 6 individual ramekins. They only need about 25 minutes of baking time.
